Terms of Service

PatternForge helps you digitize, trace, scale, edit, and export physical sewing and craft patterns into printable digital files.

PatternForge is a tool that assists you in creating digital patterns. While we strive to provide accurate results, no automated or manual process can guarantee perfection. You are responsible for reviewing your finished pattern before using it.

Some features may include automated suggestions or assistance. You remain responsible for verifying all outputs before relying on them.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current account information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Use only one account unless we explicitly permit otherwise.

Accounts are licensed to a single individual and may not be shared with others.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in your country.

The features and rights available to you depend on your subscription plan.

• Trial. You may use the full PatternForge workflow and prepare completed patterns without creating an account. Downloads require creating a free account.
• Free. Free accounts may create and edit local projects. The first downloads of up to three distinct project IDs are included; those files carry a visible watermark and are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
• Premium. Premium subscribers may download an unlimited number of distinct projects while the subscription is active, export watermark-free files, and receive a commercial license to sell patterns that they own or have the legal right to create and distribute.

PatternForge does not grant you permission to reproduce, digitize, distribute, or sell copyrighted patterns owned by someone else.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any material you upload or digitize.

You retain ownership of the photos, files, and patterns you upload or create using PatternForge. We do not claim ownership of your content.

When you use an optional cloud or account feature, you grantHyBee3D LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, back up, transmit, and display that submitted content only as necessary to operate, secure, and maintain that feature.

We will never sell your uploaded patterns or claim them as our own.

Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Subscription pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, and taxes (where applicable) are shown during checkout.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date. If you cancel, your Premium access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds are handled according to the refund policy presented at purchase and any rights provided under applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Upload or digitize content you do not have the legal right to use.
• Infringe another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Remove or attempt to bypass watermarks or subscription restrictions.
• Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, decompile, or attempt to recreate the PatternForge software or its functionality, except where applicable law permits.
• Use automated tools to interfere with or overload the service.
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use PatternForge for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

PatternForge is a measuring and scaling aid.

The accuracy of exported patterns depends on many factors, including:

• Photo quality
• Camera angle
• Calibration
• User tracing
• Printer or plotter settings
• Paper scaling

Always verify the printed test square and confirm true scale before cutting fabric or other materials.

HyBee3D LLC is not responsible for wasted materials, production costs, lost profits, or other losses resulting from inaccurate measurements or printing.

We work hard to keep PatternForge available and reliable. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service.

We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, security issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Features may evolve, change, or be discontinued as PatternForge develops.

PatternForge, including its software, interface, branding, graphics, logos, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by HyBee3D LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you only the limited right to use the service as intended. No ownership or intellectual property rights in PatternForge are transferred to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload, digitize, trace, or export complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

PatternForge is a tool for creating digital patterns — it does not verify ownership or licensing of the materials you use. If your use of PatternForgeinfringes another party's rights, you are solely responsible for any resulting claims or liability.

PatternForgeis provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HyBee3D LLC disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• HyBee3D LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
• We are not responsible for lost profits, lost business opportunities, lost data, or wasted materials.
• Our total liability arising from your use of PatternForge is limited to the total amount you paid us during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

You may stop using PatternForge and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the service, engaged in fraudulent activity, or created a security risk.

Sections relating to ownership, licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms as PatternForge evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and provide notice through the service where appropriate.

Your continued use of PatternForge after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PatternForge will be subject to the applicable courts located in Texas, unless otherwise required by law.
